Job Description
Purpose:
- Under general supervision of the immediate supervisor, this position is established to support Leaf Operation and logistic activities.
The position's main activities are: - Coordinating all logistics regarding leaf logistics, and proper follow up of procedures in warehouse operations in the locations.
- Supervise & Co-ordinate use of Vehicles, Truck Drivers and Fleet Associates are operational.
Follow-up vehicles & trucks are maintained as per the maintenance standards in his/her respective area locations.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Oversee the transportation of agricultural inputs, local tobacco leaf delivery, wood etc. to and from Leaf Operation Centers using trucks and vehicles.
- Supervises the inventory management of various materials, tools, equipment, supplies received and stored in the warehouses and needed for the Leaf operations; ensures that stock items are protected from dirt, damage, fire, theft, etc.
- Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of responsible for vehicle utilization & maintenance.
- Follow up and prepare LOCs cured leaf weekly stock and supply report.
- Provide monthly fuel usage and vehicle maintenance cost report and schedule the maintenance and repairs of vehicles.
- Coordinates warehousing and concerned managers for timely replenishment requests.
Others
- Manages Various tasks and projects as they arise and upon Manager’s request.
Job Requirements
Education:
- BA Degree in Supply Management /Accounting/ Management.
Work Experience:
- 4 years in logistics and fleet management or related fields.
