OSP Design Manager

Major Responsibilities

• Hire and manage employees
• Develops, tracks, and maintains production
• Interpret and render field survey notes
• Generate permit applications and manage correspondence between company, clients, and jurisdictions
• Perform research, documentation, and drafting tasks of engineering and permitting data as requested by clients
• Update, maintain, operate and evaluate AutoCAD software and related equipment
• Efficiently research, trouble-shoot and provide solutions
• Successfully implement quality control techniques/methods to a team of Design Technicians

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of OSP design experience
• Proficiency with 3GIS, NDS, Micro-station, and/or AutoCAD is preferred
• Proficiency with ARAMIS is required along with formal ARAMIS training
• Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Qualified to operate, access, and maintain applicable software applications
• Capable of providing high productivity and quality workmanship while remaining detail-oriented
• Adept at fully understanding and following advanced oral and written instructions
• Exercise competent judgment and initiative in executing his or her responsibilities
• Display excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Provides support to Customer in tracking production activities and goals
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and budgets as required
• Efficiently research, troubleshoot and provide solutions to job-related items
• Provide recommendations/suggestions for quality improvement and work efficiencies
• Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are followed and contribute to company strategies and plans
• Willing to expand your knowledge, be challenged and grow in a dynamic and upward trending environment
• Demonstrates the ability to think pro-actively with excellent problem-solving skills
• Good management skills (preferred)
• Analytical skills (desirable)
