Communication Engineer

NuriFlex Co. Ltd. is a south Korean based company mainly advanced in smart grid and IOT field by adopting the electricity/water/gas/calorie AMI system using wired/wireless communication.

Currently, NuriFlex won an electric AMI (Intelligent meter reading infrastructure) project in an International bidding by the state-run power company Ethiopian Electric Utility.

NuriFlex is seeking to hire competent, qualified and interested candidates for the position of Communication Engineer:

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Undertaking/Managing site surveys, Installation and maintenance
• producing, testing and implementing designs
• ensuring that objectives and deadlines are met
• writing reports and documentation
• analyzing and interpreting data
• providing technical support
• Device installation/setup, Training for operation, commissioning etc
• Trouble shooting for devices problems under warranty or out of warranty at field
• AMI or work experience for utility will be advantaged

Job Requirement

Required knowledge and competence

• BSc Degree in Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Work experience:

• Minimum of 5-6 years relevant work experience

Skills:

• Experience in wireless communication and has a good understanding of the types of products and services
• Knowledge about project related devices and good understanding about the work environment.
• Customer oriented to make smooth and good communication
• Interested in intercultural working Environment
• A logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
• Good command of English language
• Ability to cooperate and collaborate with others
