Automotive Trainer

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute training on Vehicle maintenance as per the approved curriculum
• Lead team and participate in Emergency Vehicle Maintenance as per our customer's request
• Travel to different areas to conduct the service and maintenance of customers' vehicles on their site
• Based on the plan of the college, training objectives, and individual plan, s/he organizes all the resources needed for the effective implementation of the project
• Conduct both practical and theoretical training sessions
• Conduct assessment of competencies of trainees regularly
• Perform repair and maintenance of customers' vehicles
• Prepare specifications of spare parts & lubricants to be used for vehicle service & maintenance
• Oversee the service and maintenance of both project and customers vehicles
• Report progress of trainees and assessment result of each unit of competencies upon completion of each training schedule
• Prepares individual work plans and performance report
• Participate in participatory planning at the department level
• Participates in departmental teamwork and self-development program
• Takes responsibility for the safe use and handling of training center property under his/her custody
• Comply with college and organizational-wide rules, regulations, procedures, and methods
• Undertake other assignments when deemed necessary

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance, Communication skills, and networking with the external entity is required.
• Driving skill with 3rd grade or Public One driving license
• Strong Microsoft Office computer skills: Word, Excel, lotus note; intermediate experience with databases
• Intermediate English language skills and fluency in Amharic
• Report writing skill
• Business/entrepreneurship skill
