Job Description
The research and Development Manager will have to use creative abilities and research methods to improve existing products based on industry trends and develop new products to meet the needs of the company’s target market. You are expected to report on any technical product issues that are discovered during evaluation and manage product testing and trials, assessing the materials used the efficiency of the process, and the effectiveness of the final product.
- · Leads to the creation of the new software development platform exploiting big data by utilizing machine learning, deep learning and AI.
- · Analyze all computer hardware and software to isolate problems and develop solutions to those problems daily; propose new computer hardware and software acquisitions based on company needs
- · Evaluate proposals and planned projects to assess any issues, determine feasibility and make recommendations based on research and expertise when needed
- · Break down accepted project deliverables and assign tasks to appropriate personnel
- · Schedule tasks in accordance with project goals and work priorities, and ensure all personnel complete assigned deliverables on time
- · Meet with all company personnel and outside vendors to discuss computer requirements and/or existing or anticipated issues when needed
- · Use theoretical expertise to research, innovate and redesign current technology to resolve existing or anticipated issues, and to design new technology if the current technology is determined insufficient for the company’s needs
- · Hire and train direct subordinates and develop the organizational policies and procedures, performance standards and evaluation standards under which they are bound.
- · Work experience in Software Development Support or the Continuous Integration.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree (Ms.c) in computer science-related study
- Proven experience in a relevant role
- Experience in writing scientific papers
- 6+ years' experience as an R&D engineer
- Advanced analytical, critical-thinking, innovative, mathematical and problem-solving
- A strong sense of creativity aids in the process of thinking of new product ideas and solving problems creatively.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills are also important.
- The ability to communicate well with customers, colleagues, and lower-level staff.
- Hands-on experience in managing or leading a team of employees.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and good at managing time.
- Good business sense.
