Cheshire Ethiopia is an Ethiopian Resident Charity and invites qualified applicants for the following posts

Job Summary: - Under the general supervision of the Program Officer, the Capacity Building Support Officer assists the Program Officer in planning, organizing, , coordinating, and supervising the overall activities of Cheshire  Ethiopia. Responsible to oversee the development of organizational programs; appraise reports and proposals, develop guidelines , arrange in house capacity building trainings including staff development, project management, implementation and daily management of activities.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Appraises reports and proposals
• Produces new proposals for funding opportunity
• Develops advocacy guideline for CE
• Reviews CE monitoring and evaluation document
• Reviews other CE working documents
• Uploads information in to the data base
• Performs need assessment and arranges in-house capacity building training
• Engage and take an active part in new organizational initiatives and developments
• Organizes reports and records of activities to ensure that progress is being accomplished towards specified program objectives.
• Works in collaboration with monitoring and evaluation whenever necessary.
• Performs other similar duties as assigned by the Program officer/program coordination Manager

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in related social science fields

Experience

• 6 years relevant experience

Required skills

• Training skill and training of trainers
