Vehicle Inspection

He/she is responsible for inspecting vehicles before they can be put back on the road. This includes checking to see if the vehicle is safe to drive, as well as ensuring that it meets all relevant safety standards and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspecting vehicles to identify mechanical problems, such as leaks in the fuel system or worn tires
• Performing safety inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition
• Examining vehicle titles and registration documents to ensure that they are valid
• Inspecting vehicles for damage, ensuring that all equipment is installed properly, and checking for recalls
• Reporting any unsafe conditions to the appropriate party for further action
• Performing minor repairs or arranging for repairs to be made, including changing the oil and replacing filters
• Checking for signs of theft, vandalism, or other damage, such as dents or scratches,
• Determining if vehicles have been damaged in accidents by checking for signs of repair work.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Diploma/ BSc Degree in Auto Mechanic, Mechanical Engineering and Minimum of three years of confirmed experience in a similar position.
