Corporate PR and CSR Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to promote BGI Ethiopia's corporate image and objectives, with a special focus on highlighting our CSR initiatives.
• Create and implement effective communication plans to ensure consistent messaging across various platforms, emphasizing the positive social impact of our activities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key industry influencers to generate positive media coverage and maximize brand exposure for our CSR efforts.
• Proactively identify and engage with media opportunities to showcase BGI Ethiopia's achievements, initiatives, and thought leadership in CSR and sustainability.
• Craft compelling press releases, articles, and other media materials that effectively communicate our CSR initiatives, demonstrating our commitment to social responsibility.
• Act as a spokesperson for BGI Ethiopia, representing the organization in media interviews, press conferences, and public events, emphasizing our CSR achievements and goals.
• Develop and implement impactful corporate social responsibility initiatives aligned with BGI Ethiopia's values, aiming to make a positive difference in the communities we serve.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and subject matter experts, to integrate CSR practices throughout the organization and ensure CSR is ingrained in our company culture.
• Coordinate and organize CSR programs and events that engage employees, communities, and stakeholders, creating opportunities for meaningful interaction and shared impact.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as government agencies, NGOs, community organizations, and industry associations, fostering positive partnerships that support our CSR objectives.
• Monitor industry trends, social issues, and sustainability practices to identify opportunities for proactive PR and CSR initiatives that align with BGI Ethiopia's goals and values.
• Measure and evaluate the impact of PR and CSR initiatives, prepare reports showcasing our progress and impact, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Stay updated on relevant PR, CSR, and sustainability practices, trends, and regulations, ensuring that our CSR efforts shine and align with best practices.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Corporate PR and CSR Manager or a similar role, preferably within the same industry, with a track record of successful CSR initiatives.
• Strong understanding of public relations principles, practices, and strategies, with a focus on showcasing CSR initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and community engagement, with a passion for making a positive impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages that highlight our CSR achievements and resonate with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated expertise in media relations, including experience with media outreach, press release development, and media monitoring for CSR-related activities.
• Proficient in managing social media platforms and utilizing digital marketing tools to effectively communicate CSR initiatives and engage stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders, including community organizations and NGOs.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure the successful implementation of CSR initiatives.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving
• 10 years’ experience and 5 years of experience in CSR and PR management roles.
