Job Description
- Medication review and dispensing: Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and potential interactions, dispensing medications with precision, and providing clear instructions to patients.
- Clinical consultations: Advising patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions with other therapies or conditions.
- Monitoring and therapeutic interventions: Monitoring patients' response to medications, identifying and addressing adverse reactions, and recommending adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Collaboration with healthcare team: Collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management.
Leadership and Management:
- Supervision and mentorship: Guiding and supporting junior pharmacists, providing training and development opportunities, and ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Inventory management and budget control: Overseeing medication stock levels, optimizing purchasing decisions, and ensuring efficient resource allocation within the pharmacy department.
- Policy and procedure development and implementation: Participating in developing and implementing pharmacy policies and procedures that adhere to regulations and promote safe medication practices.
- Quality assurance and risk management: Monitoring and evaluating pharmacy practices for adherence to quality standards and identifying potential risks to patient safety.

- Communicating effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication management and optimal patient care.
Professional development:
- Continuously updating knowledge and skills through seminars, conferences, and independent learning to stay informed about the latest advancements in pharmacotherapy.
Experience:
- Work experience 5 years BA degree Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is highly desirable.
