Job Description

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  1. HR officer will be responsible to assist FOM recruitment and selection within delegated authority,
  2. Induction of new staffs joining the field office HRC & Other Departments
  3. Staff benefit management (medical, education and leave),
  4. Staff performance management process,
  5. Registering new employees on HRIS and Oracle system,
  6. Follow up of online timesheet submission of Bale field FO on time
  7. Preparing HR reports and giving HR support like   update and insert HR data in the database,
  8. Management of FO staff files/documentation,
  9. Follow up the renewal of contract,
  10. Responsible and ensure the newly hired FO staff documents send it to CO on time and
  11. Follow up of pension case with Government office
  12. Manage the HR Assistant activities,
  13. Assistant the FOM in site-level recruitment processes and ensure that relevant staffing structures in all operations departments are in place and are reflective of appropriate gender balance.
  14. Support the FO to promote professional development by identifying training and capacity-building opportunities and ensure protection staff are well versed in SCI code of conduct, accountability, and prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse.
  15. Support the FOM with the collaboration of FO program Managers, to ensure staff objectives are set and that evaluations and performance reviews are conducted on a regular basis including the Provision period.
  16. Ensure for FO staffs online timesheet timely Submission and Registration of HRIS and oracle system,
  17. Ensuring that all staffs personal file contains the necessary information, ensure that employment letter and other staffs related letters ( contract extension, transfer, promotion, salary adjustment, etc) are properly signed by staff;
  18. Ensures proper implementation of policies and procedures in relation to Human Resource Management
  19. Ensuring that all staffs acknowledgment certificate on Child safeguarding, safety & security & rest of Core policies is read & signed & documented in each personal files.
  20. Provide induction for all newly recruited staffs
  21. Make sure that staffs leave balance is properly recorded on soft and hard copy
  22. Managing staffs Pension case other additional HR-related activities given by the FOM

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALFICATION AND EXPEREINCE

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field
  2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience of in management of HR, in the NGO
  3. environment, including significant field operations experience
  4. Experience in Oracle system, Taleo ,HRIS
  5. Reasonable level of proficiency to read, write and communicate in English
  6. Female applicants are appreciated
  7. Broad understanding programs management and operations
  8. Ability to work independently and take personal initiative
  9. Strong supervisory management skill
  10. Strong interpersonal skills
  11. Excellent computer software skills
