Job Summary

• The Senior Data Science Officer is responsible for defining requirements, mining and analyzing data, integrating data from various sources, and availing a high-quality data pipeline. In addition, the jobholder is responsible for participating in the design of advanced analytical models within a banking context.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.

Experience

• At least Five (5) years’ relevant experience

• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Ability to apply GDPR and privacy policy.
• Ability capture, storage, analyze, data sets, that are complex and large, not structured and in different formats
• Strong understanding of data models, structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Strong familiarity with data preparation, processing, classification, and forecasting.
• Direct experience with data management techniques.
• Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with relational, SQL and No SQL databases.
• Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Experience with SQL administration and SQL toolsets.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
