- Position:Ā Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD) Coordinator
- Reports to:Ā Head of HROD

- Duty Base: Addis Ababa
Key Responsibilities
Providing professional and effective HR services (employee life cycle aspects) for managers and staff. Manages HR functions like recruitment, induction, performance management, HR database, and others. Supports in all interventions aimed at team development; participate in the proposal development process; Coordinate learning and development, staff performance management, and team building; Coordinate SHEA and safeguarding activities
- Facilitates and manages recruitment and selection process
- Maintains employee records and database.
- Assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resource functions and duties
- Completes monthly and year-end reports regarding recruitment, terminations, transfers, and new hires.
- Completes miscellaneous research, reports, and memos as requested.
- Coordinate staff training and development programs based on both the organizationās and the individual's needs and coordinates the delivery of training and development programs
- Analysis, review, and evaluates training and learning interventions
- Coordinates induction programs and provides induction in the area of HR Lead staff induction and onboarding process as per AAEās staff onboarding and induction guideline and supports line managers on the same.
- Coordinates the organizationās performance management program, including periodic reminders to the management team, and prepares reports on performance appraisal status and quality
- Coordinates exit interviews with employees leaving the company and distribute the exit interview to the concerned bodies
- Facilitates and works on the development and maintenance of sound Human Resource Information systems,
- Participates in the annual and strategic plan and budgeting processes for HR and Organizational Development programs and functions; Provides close support to the program team across the organization in HR administration and management process,
- Closely work with the procurement and logistic officers on procurement planning and process efficiency
- Ensure HR policy compliance and best practices mainly in staff leave management, and employee Cycle.
- Implements cost reduction strategies and value-for-money initiatives within the role.
Job Requirements
- The successful candidates must possess a minimum bachelorās Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant fields, with a minimum of four years of proven experience. MA in the relevant field of study is preferred
- The ability to plan and prioritize tasks; manage workload to meet deadlines and work on own initiative.
- Ability to identify best practices in HR management, proper documentation and sharing, good knowledge of HRIS, excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, negotiation skills, knowledge of new and emerging issues in HROD, knowledge of local labor laws and other related proclamations
