Multiple positions

Ethiopian Airlines has issued an external vacancy announcement for multiple positions in their Ethiopian Skylight Hotel.

✓ Position 1: Lifeguard

Required Education and qualifications: A Minimum of 10+1 or Level I Certificate in Hotel Operation or any related field of study from an accredited TVET/College /institute with a minimum of three(3) years relevant experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 2: IT Officer

Required Education and qualifications: A minimum BSc degree in Computer Science /Computer/ Software Engineering or any IT-related field of studies from a recognized college/university with a minimum of one year of experience.

OR

A Minimum College Diploma / 10+3 / level IV Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Maintenance & Networking/Information Technology or any related field of study from a recognized TVET/ College/University with a minimum of three(three) years of related experience

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 3: HR OFFICER

Required Education and qualifications: BA Degree in Management/Business Management/Business Administration/Management Information System/Business Administration & Information System or any related field of study from a recognized College / University with a minimum of one year experience.

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 4: Hospitality Trainer

Required Education and qualifications: BA degree in Management/Economics/Management/Business Management/Business Administration/Management Information System/Business Administration & Information System or any related fields of study from a recognized University/College with a minimum of two(2) years work experience preferably in the hospitality industry. 

OR

Minimum of College Diploma/10+3/Level III Certificate in Management/ Economics/ Management/Business Management/Business Administration/Management Information System/Business Administration & Information System or any related fields of study from a recognized University/College with a minimum of four(4) years works experience preferably in the hospitality industry.

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 5: GYM Coach

Required Education and qualifications:

A minimum of college 10+2/ level II certificate in a related field of study from a recognized college with a minimum of three(3) years related experience.

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 6: Guest Relations Officer

Required Education and qualifications:

BA Degree in Hotel Operation/Tourism management/Food and beverage service/ Restaurant Management/ Hotels and Tourism Management or any business-related field of studies from a recognized college/university with a minimum of one(1) year of related experience.

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 7: Front Office Agent

Required Education and qualifications: +A Minimum of College Diploma/10+3/Level III Certificate in Hotel Operations/ Tourism management/Food and beverage service or any business-related field of studies from a recognized college/university with a minimum of three(3) years related experience in big scale catering institutes or Hotel Services.

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 8: Driver

Required Education and qualifications: A Minimum of 12th/10th-grade Complete per the old /new curriculum with a Dry II /Public II driving license and a minimum of four years of driving experience in a known organization.

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 9: Conference and Event Coordinator

Required Education and qualifications:

A minimum BA Degree in Marketing, Hotel Management/Hospitality/Management/Human Resources Management/ Customer and Client Relations/Revenue Management, Financial Management /Public Administration, or any other business-related field with Four years’ experience in big scale catering institute or hotel Services

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 10: Bell Captain

Required Education and qualifications: Minimum of College Diploma/10+3/Level III Certificate in Hospitality Management/ Hotel Operation/ Hotel Management/ Food and Beverage Service or any related field of study from an accredited College/Institute with a minimum of three years experience in a hospitality industry.

Age limit: 18-35 years old

✓ Position 11: Airport Attendant

Required Education and qualifications:

A Minimum of College Diploma/10+3/Level III Certificate in Hotel Operations/ Tourism management/Food and beverage service or any business-related field of studies from a recognized college/university with a minimum of two years of related experience in big-scale catering institutes or Hotel Services.

✓ Position 12: Administrative Assistant

Required Education and qualifications: BA Degree in Management/Business Management/Business Administration/ Management Information System/Accounting /Accounting Information System or any business-related field of studies with a minimum of one year experience in Administrative/secretarial activities in a known organization OR

A Minimum of College Diploma / 10+3 /Level III/ IV certificate in secretarial science & Office Management/Customer contact & Secretarial operation/Secretarial science or any business-related field of study with a minimum of three years experience in Administrative/secretarial activities in a known organization.

Age limit: 18 – 35 years old

Interested applicants must bring/attach all originals and copies of their supporting documents (8th Grade Ministry Card or Birth Certificate, Education credentials one passport-size picture) when they come for registration on the appropriate dates stated above.

Registration Date & Place: From October 31, 2022, up to November 02, 2022, at the Skylight Hotel compound.
