ROLE PURPOSE:
The Assets Management Coordinator is responsible to implement and roll out the E-Asset system and provide a training on the system at all levels, and ensure SCIās property handling and administration at all levels as per the set procedures of Fixed and non-Fixed Assets management, and based on minimum standards for equipment management as well as the finance manual. He/she will also be responsible for reporting audits and project close out support management, tracking and documentations activities.
SCOPE OF ROLE:

Asset management
- Responsible for E-Asset management, training and roll out it at field office level as well
- Responsible for the overall management, tracking, maintenance and reporting of SCIās fixed and non-fixed Ā assets and General Programme Equipment
- Maintain a fixed and non-fixed assets register list in line with the SCIās asset management guideline.
- Register all new assets on asset register/E-Asset, issue each asset with tag number numbers and ensuring all required information including list of accessories, budget code details, donor and value of assets are captured in the asset register.
- Ensure assets are ready for use before dispatch to the field offices;
- Satellite/cell phones are managed in line with polices.
- Notify finance of any billing information
- Facilitate dispatch of assets to relevant field offices or issues to individuals as instructed and update asset register as required
- Maintain programmes Central Asset Register/E-Asset for all assets in programme updating any changes as necessary ensure authorised documentation confirming change in status is received from field offices and update asset master asset register;
- Arrange all asset services and repairs are done in a timely manner and asset records are updated.
- Organize annual asset inventory taking at all SCI office premises and guesthouses
- Ensuring that the correct documentation pertaining to identity, repair, theft, loss, disposal, and organizing a physical check of all Assets on a regular basis against their registers.
- Identify assets that are no more needed by the organization (obsolete, defective, and broken) and prepare disposal documents to be presented to the Country Director for approval.
- Regularly communicate with field offices Ā supply chain leads on assets sorting, tagging and registration
- With the budget holders.
- Ensure copies of asset documents are updated and reconciled with accounts department
- Produce monthly, quarter and annual reports
- Maintain and Implement an electronicĀ national assets tracking system to ensure adequate supporting documentation, accuracy and control over movements; ensure accurate and organized records as well as regular reporting and updating;
- Collect donation document from the donation recipient partners, support in compiling donation report and submit the report to Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSOs) in the time due.
- Under take properties management activities as assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in IT, Supply Chain/Asset Management/business administration/management/Finance from recognised university/college with three years related experience, and/or Masterās Degree in IT, Ā business administration/management/Finance, or related subject with three years relevant experiences
- Good written and spoken English knowledge
- A good team player
- Commitment to and understanding of Save the childrenās aims, values and principles
- A commitment to childrenās rights and principles of equal opportunity

- A high level of computer literacy (word, excel, ppt etc)
