PIN currently is seeking energetic, disciplined, responsible MEAL Officer for LISEC Project
PIN currently invites applicants for the position of MEAL Officer
Length of Contract: Definite until April 30/2024Ā
Duties and Responsibilities of MEAL Officer
- Provide quality guidance to projects/programs in their planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes as per PIN QSC criteria and strongly follow the progress of goals and objectives.
- Ensure PINās planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes meet the sector standards and comply with external accountability requirements.
- Develop and review the project's MEAL plan in collaboration with the program/project team. Agree on project performance indicators, methods of data collection and storage, monitoring timeframes and roles/ responsibilities, etc.
- Assess promote and document ideas for technical improvement and further program development options and disseminate the learning outcomes to all concerned actors.
- Capacity building of the project team in MEAL practices and processes.
- Ensure that projects target beneficiaries verified and most in need are targeted for the assistance and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
- Engage in developing data collection methodology and tools and ensure the actual data collection is conducted with quality.
- Prepare all relevant MEAL reports (assessment, baseline, midterm, and end line) timely and guide the program team to practice result-based management.
- Prepare DM and PDM reports promptly and disseminate to the relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that monitoring data are reported promptly to relevant programs and managerial staff.
- Ensure Community Feedback and Response Mechanisms are put emplaced and follow the functionality and respond to queries promptly
- Any other related tasks as agreed and discussed with the Emergency program Manager and MEAL Department/unit.

- Collaborate with other actors working in the in the project target areas
- Be flexible and be able to give assistance with different activities not included in this primary job description.
- correctness and completeness of information acquired
- ensuring timely and effective implementation of project activities and meeting set results
- cost effective utilization of the project budget and follow up on the expenditures
- prompt provision of all relevant information to Project manager
- archiving of all entrusted and acquired documents in proper manner

- Perform other assignments corresponding to actual needs of the mission, program, units and project
- Substitute others related staffs during on absence while assigned by line Manager
- Understand and adherence to overall PIN code of conducts, policies, guidelines and manual
- Understand and Adhere to all donorās and PINās guidelines and policies, with special focus on safeguarding and protection policies
Ā Accountability and Safeguarding including Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH)

- Carry out the duties in accordance with the PIN Code of Conduct and Key policies.
- Participate in training and awareness raising (CoC and KP, Safeguardingā¦).
- Ensure that his/her team members attend training and awareness sessions and carry out the duties in accordance with PIN Code of Conduct and Key policies.
- Ensure that due diligence and/or capacity assessments of partners include an assessment of partnersā implementation of key safeguarding and risk policies/ procedure including the prevention of SEAH.
- Create and maintain a fulfilling and protective environment.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- BA degree in social sciences, development, statics, or any relevant field more than 2 yearsā experience in International NGOās (education sector is preferred).
Skills & experience
- Experience in data collection and analysis, and handling of electronic data collection tools.
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Experience in online and offline data base managements.
- Experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning in development, for marginalized girlās education context.
- High ethical standards and ability to endorse principals of confidentiality.
- Commitment to and understanding of PINās aims, values and principles.
- Ability to use effectively MS Office.
- Willingness and eagerness to learn new things.
