Essential Function
- Lead in the development and revision of the Regional Officeâs functional strategy aligned with the business level strategy;
- Follow up on the Region/branch performances and flag issues of importance to the Regional Vice President;
- Ensure verified information is provided to all inquiries by external bodies such as Police, Court, NBE, National Intelligence Center, etc.;
- Work closely with Regionâs team in annual operational plan development, implementation, and quality control;
- Develop and propose Operations and Logistics plans to the Regional Vice President;
- Plan, coordinate, and manage technical training in the Region.
- Support managers in conducting employeesâ performance evaluations.
- Plan and evaluate key activities that contribute toward the Regionâs annual targets and achievements.
- Follow up on the progress, construction, and renovation of new Branches and the physical condition of existing ones.
- Coordinate the timely collection and delivery of consumable and capital items approved for branches.
- Manage and coordinate the daily movement of vehicles and take corrective actions for any deviations in consultation with Regional Vice President.
- Provide follow-up on audit report findings of branches under the Regionâs domain and take any necessary remedial action.
- Analyze needs, assess the capacities of staff, and propose continuous education (e.g. training plan, ToT, seminars);
- Compile Branchesâ inquiries for facilities and services from the Head Office and ensure they are all addressed as necessary;
- Compile relevant information/scorecard for Regionâs performance evaluation/appraisal;
- Prepares a program for the progressive expansion of banks' network of branches and setup of newly opened ones;
- Ensure new branch opening activity is on schedule and compile information
- Prepare guidelines to support Region and Branch operations and improve documents vis-Ă -vis relevant changes;
- Facilitate the exchange of signatories among banks and branches/Regional offices;
- Review and initiate amendments to the retail banking procedure as necessary and on regular basis;
- Prepare the Regionâs annual plans (such as operational plans, marketing plans, and sales plans) and lead & evaluate their implementation.
- Facilitate the fulfillment of human, material, and other resources required for the operation of Branches.
- Prepare Branches work plans and monitor their execution;

Qualifications
- BA degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field,
Experience
7 years of relevant experience in the Banking Operation of which at least two (2) years in a supervisory position.
